A beautifull lake of uttarakhand (bheemtaal) Bhimtal is a small town 22 Kms from Nainital and is known as a lake resort. It was named after one of the Pandav brothers called Bhim and is the largest lake in the district of Nainital. Close enough to drive – six hours from Delhi, but far from being overrun by the holidaying hordes that cluster in Nainital, Bhimtal is a luxury taste of tranquility.
